The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine is inviting applications for development cooperation projects to implement the Development Cooperation and Democracy Support Program in Ukraine in 2020.
The application is invited to submit the following concepts:
- Developing learning opportunities in Ukrainian regions:
- Development of educational services in the regions of Ukraine (development of secondary, non-formal and vocational training opportunities).
- Objectives:
- Contribute to the development of the “Ukrainian New School” through the development of curricula and training for children and young people, with priority given to children and young people from eastern Ukraine.
- Organize in-service training activities for teachers, with priority for teachers from Eastern Ukraine.
- To organize camps for children and youth, with special attention to the needs of children and youth from eastern Ukraine.
- Target Group (s): Children, young people, educators.
- Support for vulnerable social groups (women, ethnic minorities):

- Support for women and ethnic minorities affected by the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea.
- Objectives:
- Contribute to the protection of women’s rights and their economic empowerment (assistance in acquiring the necessary competences and skills, increasing women’s employability or business creation).
- Promoting the social inclusion, economic activity, educational activities and cultural expression of national minorities.
- Target group (s): Women, ethnic minorities
- Integration of Ukrainian energy into EU networks:

- Project purpose Integration of Ukrainian energy into EU networks.
- Objectives:
- Consultation of Ukrainian energy specialists.
- Introduction of Ukrainian energy experts on Lithuania’s integration into EU networks
- Preparation of proposals for the integration of Ukrainian energy into EU networks (result of consultations).
- Target group (s): Civil servants and energy experts.
The proposed projects must comply with the Government of the Republic of Lithuania 2016 Regulations. September 21 Resolution No. 937 (the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in 2017. November 15. Resolution no. 930 version) approved development cooperation activities of the inter-institutional plan established development cooperation policies. Proposals submitted must comply with the European Union, Lithuania and Ukraine Strategic Agreements and / or Bilateral Cooperation Agreements and / or the National Development Strategies of Ukraine
Funding Information
All projects will receive 86 thousand euros in 2020.
Duration
Estimated duration of the project implementation From 01-05-2020 to 31-10-2010.
Application Requirements
- The project application must specify at least one partner in Ukraine and include its agreement to cooperate in the project. A Ukrainian partner is not required if the application is submitted by a Ukrainian entity or an international organization.
- Project application forms with the project application form ( Project application form and Project application form ) can be submitted in Lithuanian or English by natural and legal persons of the Republic of Lithuania and Ukraine, other organizations and their units by e-mail. The completed, signed and scanned project application must be accompanied by all mandatory and, where relevant, additional annexes.
