UNESCO Hanoi is seeking for an institution/company to implement communication activities of projects from May 2020.
The communication purpose is aiming to raise awareness among the wider public and inspire innovative ideas on plastic waste management and environment protection though direct and indirect communication.
During the project implementation, applied the Communication for Development (C4D) model, the communication intervention will to:
- Raise knowledge of youth student and community on plastic collection, reuse, recycle, management, environmental protection in Man and Biosphere Reserves (MAB);
- Encourage young students to take responsibility for actions and utilize their talents in tackling the issues at ground level;
- Disseminate key message to promote plastic/marine debris management in MAB sites for sustainable development;
- Raise awareness and mobilize support from different stakeholders, donors, private sector, and other actors in favor of plastic issues.
The communications materials should follow the UNESCO branding and build a strong visual identity for the Program that invariably excites and captures the attention of the target audiences which includes (i) young students (university level); (ii) community;
Tasks
Within the framework of the natural science program, the Contractor, acting upon the supervision of the National Coordinator for Natural Science Program at UNESCO Hanoi Office, shall be responsible for developing communication plan and communication activities.
In particular, the Contractor shall conduct the following activities:
- Develop the visual identity and key messages for communication purposes of the project, in consultation with UNESCO Hanoi and Coca Cola foundation;
- Development/design create high quality graphic design for communication materials for project kick off, including but not limited to posters, banners, standees, fan pages, photos and videos, aligned with project’s activities;
- Coordinate with UNESCO and Coca Cola foundation to implement virtual public campaigns within framework of the project on social media, relevant websites and fan pages, and other public media campaigns.
- Ensure the protection of UNESCO’s copyright of all relevant documents under the project.
All communications materials, before being finalized, to be produced should be tested with the target audiences, and modified for its appropriateness.
Duration
The contract shall come into effect on May 1, 2020 and be expired on December 30, 2020.
