Top 20 companies will be invited to an exclusive event to pitch in front of a jury of high-profile corporates and investors. The best 5 companies will receive prizes totaling €350,000 in cash and in kind to boost their international growth.
EIT Digital Challenge is an initiative to support the European deep tech ecosystem. Since its launch in 2014, the competition has attracted more than 2000 entries from all over Europe. Most of the winning scaleups have gone on to become internationally successful companies. Now it’s your turn!
The Challenge is looking for fast-growing European ‘deep tech’ companies with a differentiating product offering that leverages sophisticated, hard-to-reproduce digital technologies.

Prize Information
- The best 5 companies will receive a full year of tailored international growth support by the EIT Digital Accelerator worth €50,000 to scale up their business.
- On top of that, the first place winner will receive a cash prize of €100,000.
- Market and Access to Finance support
- Benefit from the Access to Market and Access to Finance support provided by a dedicated team of experienced business developers and financing specialists operating from 17 major European cities and a hub in Silicon Valley. They will support you in growing your business internationally and raising international capital.
- Pan European Innovation Network
- Get access to network of 200+ renowned partners across Europe consisting of corporations, SMEs, startups, universities and research institutes.
- International Visibility
- The Challenge will communicate your success and share your story through powerful on- and offline channels and leading European media outlets, generating valuable international exposure for your business.
Criteria
- Company max. ten years old
- Fast-growing technology company with international ambitions
- Company incorporated in EU27, United Kingdom or associated H2020 countries.
- Growth stage: min. €300,000 in revenue or €2,000,000 in funding.
All submissions will be evaluated by internal and external experts. They will examine the market and internationalization potential of your product or service as well as the quality of your core team. They will also consider the fit of your product or service to thematic areas and the impact support could have on your business.
