The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Moldova announces a procedure for the acceptance and selection of proposals for projects to be implemented with a grant through the Official Development Assistance of the Republic of Bulgaria, with an initial implementation period in 2021.
Objectives
Increasing the quality of education in educational establishments on the territory of the Republic of Moldova through the equipment with technical equipment of halls and cabinets for profiled training in different disciplines; Improvement of the building stock and the adjoining infrastructure through repair works and installation of new installations, repair of internal premises, etc.
Providing more quality health care through repair and reconstruction of health facilities, as well as equipment with modern computer and specialized equipment;
Improvement of the working conditions and promotion of the activities of creative collectives in the Republic of Moldova through equipment with modern technical means, musical instruments, repair and reconstruction of buildings, etc.
Priority Areas
Priority Areas for Project Implementation on the territory of the Republic of Moldova:
- Increasing The quality of education, including improvement/Construction works on State or municipal property – schools, kindergartens
- Support for better quality healthcare;
- Preserving cultural diversity and multicultural dialog.
Outputs/Results
The expected results are to improve the socio-economic development of the regions with Bulgarian minority to reduce poverty and to improve the living conditions and the right to education, as well as to promote the reputation and reputation of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Funding Information
- Minimal amount of the project is 5 000 BGN.
- Recommended maximum amount of the project is:
- for projects with main purpose to deliver goods and /or services – up to 50 000 BGN;
- for projects with main purpose to carry out repairs and /or construction activities – up to 135 000 BGN.
- Co-financing of project activities provided by the applicant will be considered an advantage in the evaluation, selection and approval of the projects.
- Project proposals must contain an indicative start date for the implementation of the project after March 1, 2021 and no later than November 30, 2021
- Projects must be completed no later than December 31, 2023.
Target Groups
The Priority target group is the citizens of the Republic of Moldova of Bulgarian origin in areas with a compact ethnic population in the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- Primary and secondary budget spenders – legal entities of Republic of Moldova;
- International and local non-governmental organizations;
- Municipalities and their associations;
- Educational, health and social institutions;
- International humanitarian organisations;
