The International Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH) is looking for NGOs to participate in the upcoming 8th Monitoring Exercise (or an equivalent Shadow Monitoring Exercise) to check the adherence of the signatory social media platforms to the Code of Conduct on countering illegal hate speech online.

The Work that Needs to be Carried Out
- The chosen subcontractors must:
- Collect at least a 100 cases of illegal hate speech during the running of the upcoming 8th Monitoring Exercise round (or an equivalent Shadow Monitoring), which will run for 6 weeks.
- Enter the collected cases into an Excel template that will be provided to them by INACH.
- Fill out a qualitative questionnaire (Excel template) about the monitoring, also provided by INACH.
- Send both Excel sheets to INACH not later than 2 weeks after the end of the 8th Monitoring Exercise.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant organisation must be a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, such as an NGO or a CSO.
- The applicant organisation must be based in one of the 27 EU countries.
- The applicant organisation participated in at least 2 previous Monitoring Exercises.
- The applicant organisation is a trusted flagger (or other similar role) for at least 3 social media platforms out of the following platforms:
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Snapchat
- Dailymotion
