The East Brighton Trust Fund is currently accepting applications for the Community Cohesion Grants Programme.
The aim of the East Brighton Trust Fund is to support voluntary or not-for-profit community groups to undertake projects or run events that benefit people who live in the East Brighton Trust area of benefit. The East Brighton area is defined as: Bates Estate, Higher Bevendean, Manor Farm, Moulsecoomb, Saunders Park, Bristol Estate, Craven Vale, and Whitehawk.

- Grants of up to £750 are available in the next round.
What is eligible for support?
- Applications are welcome for projects or events that benefit residents living in the East Brighton Trust area. The Fund seeks to support specific projects or events, so please define what the project or event is – for example, when it takes place, who will benefit, and what the cost is. Projects that take place in community spaces within the area of benefit will be prioritised.
- Your project or event must take place within 12 months of the grant award.
Eligibility Criteria
- The East Brighton Trust Fund is open to all not-for-profit organisations including charities, community and voluntary groups operating within the defined Trust areas of benefit. This area is outlined on the map on page 3. If you are applying from outside the area, please indicate in the body of the application form which local partners based within the area you are working with to deliver your project.
- You can receive one Community Cohesion grant in any 12 month rolling period.
Ineligible
- Applications from individuals
- Organisations or activities which don’t benefit communities or residents within the area of benefit
- Organisations that discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, disability, age, gender or sexual orientation
- Organisations where the service provided is used as a vehicle or means to promote religious beliefs
- Political activities
- Grants which will be used to make awards to a third party
- Project which only benefit animals
- Organisations who have not returned monitoring from previous grant awards
