Submissions are now open for the Canon Oceania Grant Program.
The Canon Oceania Grants Program returns to support four more worthy organisations or individuals to further their impact, including a new category dedicated to elevating connection to the indigenous culture of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Grant Categories
- Community Grant Valued at $5,000
- Open to any project or organisation that has a positive impact on communities, cultural and societal causes. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
- Education Grant Valued at $5,000
- Open to any project run by a primary, secondary, or tertiary school/educational institution. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
- Environmental Grant Valued at $5,000
- Open to any project that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community. The winner will receive $2,500 cash, and Canon product valued up to $2,500.
- Cultural Grant Valued at $5,000
- New for 2024, the Cultural Grant is open to any project or organisation that elevates connection to the indigenous culture of Aotearoa, New Zealand. The winner will receive $2,500 cash and Canon product to the value of up to $2,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be an individual New Zealand or Pacific Island Nation citizen or resident, or a New Zealand or Pacific Island Nation based legal entity (Applicant), located either in New Zealand or a Pacific Island Nation.
- Canon New Zealand will consider your application if you are an eligible organisation and can demonstrate that the $5,000 ($2,500 in retail value and $2,500 cash) will be used to facilitate an educational, community or environmental project that will benefit the New Zealand community.
Ineligible
- The Canon Oceania Grants Program does not support:
- Political organisations
- Religious organisations
- Sport organisations
- Requests from individuals who are not sole traders
- Fundraising dinners or events
- Capital building, endowment, or debt reduction drives
- Requests from countries outside the scope of the terms and conditions.
