Simply Organic® is inviting applications to support the millions facing food insecurity in the United States and Canada through the Simply Organic Giving Fund.
This initiative also aims to advance organic agricultural development and support grower communities as part of Frontier Co-op.
In 2018, they committed to focusing the Simply Organic Giving Fund Grant Program on addressing an issue that’s especially persistent and critical, but that is often overlooked or misunderstood: food insecurity. They’re working to help non-profit organizations across the United States and Canada to nourish the millions of food insecure in their communities by supporting organizations that provide access to nutrient-dense, organic food options.
The Simply Organic Giving Fund strives to nourish the millions of food insecure in the US and Canada by providing access to nutrient-dense organic food to populations in need.
Priorities
- Successful grant applications should meet one or more of the following program priorities:
- Provide direct access to organic nutrient-dense, culturally-relevant food options to populations facing low to very low food security
- Utilize and distribute nutrient dense organic food/meals
Funding Information
- Amounts should be between $30,000 – $100,000 USD total for the two years.
- Grant Requests should be a total amount for the two-year grant period.
Eligibility Criteria
- US and Canadian nonprofit (501(c)(3)) tax-exempt organizations with annual revenue between $150,000 – $7,000,000, who are dedicated to serving the food insecure in their communities are encouraged to apply for Simply Organic Giving Fund grants.
