Applications are now open for the second round of Heritage Open Days: Micro-grants for New Organisers to support organisers new to the festival.
Funding Information
- £350 to deliver an event for the 2025 festival.
Eligible Activities
- It can be spent on areas such as:
- Marketing and publicity.
- Services and product hire to facilitate your event.
- Staff time for delivering your event, paying people to work on your project, volunteer expenses, supplementary training that is essential for the delivery of your event.
Ineligible Activities
- It cannot be used to:
- Facilitate personal gain.
- Cover core costs such as rent or utility bills.
- Cover work that has already taken place.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be new to the festival community.
- You must be planning an event highlighting an under-represented history.
- They will prioritise applications from:
- individuals from a Global Majority background,
- individuals aged 18 – 30,
- organisations/groups that are led by anyone from these backgrounds (CEO/director/leader or more than 50% of staff/volunteers),
- individuals/organisations co-creating with anyone from the above backgrounds.
