Deadline: 30-Sep-20
The Refugee Community Grant Fund supports initiatives and organizations that benefit this community in Omaha.
The Omaha Community Foundation is in partnership with an advisory board to aid in funding decisions, however, in the coming months this board will transition to an all resident-led decision making group. The committee will be comprised of representatives from refugee populations who understand what investments will be most impactful in addressing the needs of their community.
Funding priorities include, but are not limited to:
- Family stabilization
- Education and culture
- Youth support and access
- Physical and mental health
Applications that demonstrate collaboration among multiple organizations are encouraged. Refugee representation (among clients served, management, staff, and board members) is considered during the decision making process.
