The Institut Français with the support of the Ministry of Culture (Directorates of cultural affairs of Reunion and Mayotte and the Directorate-General for Artistic Creation) are seeking applications for its program Indianoceanic Mobility Fund to promote mobility of artists and culture professionals within the Indianoceanic region.
This programme supports mobility within the Indianoceanic region (Indian Ocean Commission members countries and overseas departments of France in the Indian Ocean) and towards Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya.
Benefits
- Recipients benefit from air fare coverage up to €1,500 and repatriation insurance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Priority will be given to mobility for:
- participation in leading events, trainings, markets development, professionals’ participations in transnational networks, research works and artistic collaborations, invitations to debates, conferences or seminars, crossed residencies.
- Applications must be submitted by a natural person for a professional mobility as part of a cultural or artistic project.
- It is open to the following candidates:
- Culture professionals or artists living in one of the overseas departments of France in the Indian Ocean or in one of the Indian Ocean Commission (Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, France with Reunion Island, Seychelles) members countries or in Mozambique, or Tanzania or Kenya.
- It includes the following disciplines:
- Architecture, artistic training, arts, cinema, circus, comic books, dance, debates, design, digital arts, fashion, intangible cultural heritage, landscaping, literature, multidisciplinary projects, museum & patrimony, music, photography, puppet arts, street arts, visual arts, theatre, training for culture related professions, urban planning, video games.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Complete the online form using the following information:
- Project holder: information about the applicant.
- Description of the project: brief presentation of the mobility project, objectives and expected results, mobility period.
- Partnerships: information on possible contacts and partnerships established with French and/or foreign artists and/or professionals.
- Documents to be submitted with the application form
- A resume or an artistic dossier.
