Deadline: 16-Nov-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking engagement in cross-sectoral and social policy areas to strengthen communication, recovery, research, and advocacy efforts supporting sustainable development in Libya.
The focus includes cross-sectoral areas such as communication for development, early recovery, monitoring and evaluation, research and data analysis, and training, capacity building and capacity development. It also covers social policy and advocacy areas including policy advocacy and social policy and advocacy – general.
This initiative is centered on the region of Al Jufrah in Libya, aiming to strengthen integrated approaches that connect data-driven research, capacity enhancement, and policy engagement. By prioritizing communication for development, the program intends to improve awareness, participation, and accountability across targeted interventions that align with humanitarian and recovery objectives.
Through the emphasis on monitoring and evaluation, the initiative supports continuous learning and improvement in project implementation. The inclusion of research and data analysis ensures that policy advocacy and decision-making are informed by evidence and responsive to community needs. Furthermore, the focus on training and capacity development aims to build institutional resilience and enhance the capabilities of local actors to sustain positive change.
The program underscores WFP’s commitment to promoting early recovery and social policy dialogue, enabling national and local stakeholders to play an active role in shaping inclusive and sustainable development outcomes.
