Call for Improved Access to Culture and Art (Poland)

The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, acting as the Operator of the CULTURE Programme under the EEA Grants 2014-2021 has announced a call for applications under Outcome 2 “Access to art and culture improved”.

Objectives

development of cultural cooperation between creators, participants of cultural life and cultural institutions;
strengthening bilateral relations between Poland and the Donor States;
strengthening the competences of specialists in the cultural, cultural heritage and creative sectors.

Thematic Areas

music and performing arts;
visual arts (including film festivals);
cultural heritage;
creative sectors;
literature and art criticism;
archives;
cultural and artistic education, as well as in any other area being part of the Programme.

Funding Information

The amount available under the call for proposals is: EUR 4,941,177, i.e. PLN 22,117,284
Project co-financing amount: From PLN 100,000 to PLN 500,000
The maximum length of a project is 24 months.. The project start date should not be earlier than the date of the Minister’s decision. The project must be completed by April 30, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Public cultural institutions, state archives, art schools and art academies, churches and religious associations, non-governmental organizations active in the field of culture, local government units, entrepreneurs operating in the cultural and creative sectors.
The Applicant must be an entity registered in Poland. The Applicant is responsible for submitting the application and for its implementation.
The eligible Applicants include the following types of entities:
- public cultural institutions;
- state archives;
- art schools and art universities;
- churches and religious associations;
- non-governmental organizations in the field of culture;
- local government units;
- public and private commercial entities active in the cultural and creative sectors as defined in Regulation (EU) No 1295/2013 on the Creative Europe Programme.
