Nesta is currently seeking expressions of interest for its Click Connect Learn Fund to support innovations that use digital technology to enable volunteers to tutor disadvantaged pupils.
Project Criteria
Proposal will be judged against the following criteria:
- Social action: will the proposal increase the volume and availability of volunteer-led tutoring?
- Innovation: how innovative is the idea in the proposal?
- Capacity to deliver: does the organisation have the capacity to deliver the proposal?
- Clear demand: is there evidence that the work will have demand amongst schools, volunteers and partners, as well as amongst students?
- Existing Evidence: does the organisation’s existing model have strong evidence of positive impact?
- Sustainability: is the proposal underpinned by a credible business model to continue and scale the work if successful?
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this funding applicant must be a charity or a social enterprise/social business based in the UK. Program will not fund purely for-profit companies or individuals.
