Deadline: 25-Mar-21
Applications are now open for the Zovighian Partnership for Investing in Women in Lebanon.
The Zovighian Partnership is honored to be commissioned to design and manage a unique grant for civil society organizations in Lebanon working hard to ensure the economic empowerment of women.
They have designed this grant by deeply listening to ecosystem experiences receiving humanitarian aid in Lebanon since the Beirut Explosion of August 4, 2020. Growth-stage organizations with 4-10 years experience in Lebanon and early-stage CSOs with 0-3 years experience on the ground are invited to join forces as coalition teams of 2-3 organizations.
They welcome proposals for economic empowerment programs and initiatives that champion Lebanese, refugee, and migrant women. They have detailed their key objectives, design parameters, and eligibility requirements for this grant to guide your applications.
Eligibility Criteria
- They welcome proposals for economic empowerment programs and initiatives that champion Lebanese, refugee, and migrant women.
- This first call for proposals is open to two types of civil society organizations:
- organizations with 4-10 years’ experience; and
- early-stage organizations with 0-3 years of experience.
- This grant is designed to build the capacity of organizations with 0-10 years of experience without being put in competition with long-established organizations.
- In order to avoid favoring any one religion, denomination, or sect, they are unable to accept applications from faith-based organizations.
- Only not-for-profit civil society organizations may apply.
- Unfortunately, this call for proposals is not able to fund private individuals and personal bank accounts.
- Each coalition must have two or three partners.
How To Apply
- The online application is their first opportunity to get to know you better. They are very keen to hear from you and learn from your proposed recommendations on how best to serve women in Lebanon.
- They hold themselves accountable to making this application a safe space to meaningfully empower women in Lebanon today.
