Applications are open for “Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative (GCPI)” from established community groups and non-profit organisations with an aim to contribute to national development through partnerships with community and stakeholder development initiatives in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Priority Areas
- Social Services/Community Development: established, sustainable developmental projects; infrastructural and other sustainable programmes to benefit our communities.
- Education: broad-based developmental programmes to benefit schools, vulnerable groups and the wider population; programmes that contribute to the development of our nation’s human resource capital.
- Environment: projects that serve to develop awareness or preserve land and marine habitats for the benefit of the island’s eco-system.
- Science and Technology/Energy: programmes that promote interest in these areas and projects that encourage innovation and sustainability.
- Sport: infrastructural and/or developmental initiatives of umbrella sporting associations and recognized stakeholders.
- Arts, Heritage and Culture: national and parish events; developmental programmes.
Funding Information
Maximum disbursement is One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000) per project.
Eligibility Criteria
Established community groups and non-profit organisations in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique are eligible to apply.
