The European Union has announced the applications for Energy Call Programme.
Topics
The projects submitted in the framework of call 8 need to address one of the following topics:
- Green hydrogen
- Energy communities
- Use of low-voltage direct current technology
- Development of local production of technology for integrated photovoltaics
- Information exchange on the topic of energy to stimulate and promote the energy transition and create synergies in this field in the EMR
The projects submitted within this call must at least contribute to one of the following underperforming programme indicators:
- PSI6 Number of projects supported addressing a rational usage of resources in SMEs
- PSI17 Number of projects aimed at increasing the energy autonomy of SMEs
Funding Information
- Economy: € 5,000,000
- The maximum project duration for call 8 projects is 18 months.
Deliverables
- Every content work-package (including WPM & WP Communication) defined in the eMS must include at least one activity.
- Every activity must have at least one deliverable linked to it.
- Every activity has an indicative budget that must be filled in by hand in the eMS; this is not automatically done by the system.
- The FLC work-package is to be considered as an administrative work-package. This is the only work package that does not need to have any activity, deliverable or output linked to it. This work package will always be listed as the last one from the block of implementation work-packages.
Eligibility Criteria
A project who fails to comply with any of the eligibility criteria will be declared ineligible. Only if a project fulfils all eligibility criteria it will pass to the quality assessment.
- The application was submitted on time through the electronic monitoring system (eMS).
- All mandatory fields in the application form are properly filled in according to the instructions.
- The application is complete with all compulsory annexes.
- The project involves at least 2 partners from 2 different member states within the EMR Programme area or at least one cross-border organisation (e.g. an EGTC).
- The project application is submitted in Dutch, French and German. (Note: English is optional).
- All partners have a legal personality.
- The maximum ERDF co-financing rate of 50% per partner has not been exceeded.
- The maximum project duration of 18 months is not exceeded.
- The project starts not before 1 January 2022
- The project ends not after 30 June 2023
- 13 cooperating regional partners are working on the Interreg EMR programme in the border region between Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The programme is the local rendition of the European Union’s cross-border funding programme.
