The Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to support contemporary artists and performances in Vietnam and to promote exchange between Vietnamese and Danish artists.
This Call for Expression of Interest is launched to select competent Vietnamese applicants to receive these funding.
Eligibility Criteria
- Vietnamese independent art spaces which:
- have a permanent space suitable for art exhibition, performances, events and activities
- have been in full operation for at least 2 years (until December 2016); and
- have a project that will start not earlier than April 2017 and complete not later than March 2018.
- The Embassy will review the applications and decide to support those projects that are:
- best supportive to the development of the contemporary art scene in Vietnam;
- creative and innovative with diversified types of events, activities and art genres; and
- supportive to promotion of exchange between Vietnamese and Danish artists, if possible and where relevant.
- Ability to mobilize other funding resources, i.e. from other donor agencies’ funding and/or counterpart funding, etc. for their project is an advantage.
