The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), within the project “Civil Service Training for the 21st Century in the Republic of Serbia”, has announced a competition for civil society organizations, scientific research institutions and academic institutions founded by the Republic of Serbia.
The general goal of the competition is to establish cooperation between the National Academy of Public Administration and interested organizations in the process of scanning the needs and creating a framework for the training of civil servants.
Goals
The special goals of the competition are:
- initiating the first activities within the research and analytical function,
- researching the needs for professional development of civil servants,
- creating recommendations for further training of civil servants.
Funding Information
- Funds intended for financing an individual project may not exceed the amount of 20,000 US dollars (twenty thousand dollars) in dinars.
- The duration of the project cannot be shorter than 5 (five) or longer than 7 (seven) months.
Expected Activities
- Within this competition, activities will be financed that research the needs for training in public administration, in order to develop guidelines and measures that would be made available to public administration institutions, with the potential to be implemented throughout the Republic of Serbia.
- Through this call, and within its research and analytical work, the National Academy of Public Administration aspires to include interested actors and professional the public in the process of creating training programs for civil servants.
- It is expected that civil society organizations and / or scientific research organizations, based on research activities, formulate recommendations for training of civil servants, by proposing specific thematic areas that are important for modern public administration for the 21st century.
Eligibility Criteria
The submitters of the project proposal can be civil society organizations, as well as scientific research institutions and academic institutions whose founder is not the Republic of Serbia.
