Deadline: 15 June 2017
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications from qualified Philippine organizations to implement the “Patient-Centered TB Care” program.
The “Patient-Centered TB Care” activity represents one of several activities that make up USAID’s overall investments in the Philippines health sector. The tuberculosis or TB activity will work closely with USAID, other USAID activities, the Department of Health, the Global Fund and its principal recipients and sub-recipients and a range of Filipino stakeholders and organizations to achieve the broader vision and support the attainment of the Philippine Health Agenda.
The “Patient-Centered TB Care” activity will focus on improving patient-centered TB care through bolstering tuberculosis services at the regional, provincial, local government unit and community levels to increase TB and drug-resistant TB case detection and treatment success rates while also decreasing default rates. The Patient-Centered TB Care activity is intended to provide complementary, wrap-around capacity building support to the National TB Program to institutionalize and sustain TB interventions, particularly those supported by the Global Fund.
