The program includes a 6-day intensive live in accelerator with access to ygap’s proven curriculum delivered by their world class facilitation team. They will provide tailored business training, support, small grants, networks, and a community of inspiring, like-minded entrepreneurs all working towards creating a better future for Australia’s children. The best part – the program is completely free. They exist simply to support and grow early-stage social impact ventures that are addressing this complex issue.

Who they are looking for:

  • Applicants are an entrepreneur: ygap believes the solutions to today’s toughest challenges are entrepreneurial, so they focus on early-stage ventures that exist to address childhood violence.
  • Applicants are in their early-stages: Applicants will have already launched a venture and can demonstrate early traction or proof of concept. Their intervention should be innovative and unique, and will typically have been in operation less than two years.
  • Applicants’ mission is to help children: Their venture benefits children in Australia who have survived violence or is preventing children from experiencing violence.
  • Applicants have a deep understanding of the issue: the founding team should know the ecosystem deeply, whether through lived experience or from working in the sector, and be committed to addressing the issue.
