The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a thematic Programme “Support to Civil Protection” with an aim to reduce vulnerability to natural and man-made disasters at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Priority Issues
- Result 1: Bosnia and Herzegovina competent institutions developed capacities needed for becoming effective member of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
- Result 2: Civil protection authorities and intervention teams are capable to effectively respond in the event of major emergency in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Result 3: Disaster Risk Reduction approach through integrated risk assessment and preparedness planning established in Civil Protection sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Size of Grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must not exceed the EUR 1 500 000.
Location
Actions must take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Duration
The initial planned duration of the action is 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person
- be non-profit-making
- be a Ministry, public sector authority or agency entrusted with responsibilities related to the implementation of activities relevant to the call
- be established in a Member State of the European Union
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- Potential applicants may not participate in calls for proposals or be awarded grants if they are in any of the situations
- The lead applicant must declare that the lead applicant himself, the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies) are not in any of these situations.
- The lead applicant may act individually or with co-applicant(s).
