Deadline: 30-Nov-21
The Alliance To End Plastic Waste has launched the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Circular Models for Plastic Reuse Project that will scale up reuse and refill business models for plastic packaging, demonstrating the economic and environmental benefits at scale.
Current reuse models fall into 1 of 4 types—refill-at-home, return from home, return on-the-go and refill on-the-go. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to build on existing business concepts and to support the creation of significant, consumer oriented and large-scale solutions—enabling widespread adoption and implementation.
Part of the work involves shifting from a ‘make, use and dispose’ model of convenience, to fostering a habit of reusing packaging.
