The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting organizations of Civil Society / Non-Governmental Organizations for Submission of Proposals Project Regional Program Local Democracy in the Western Balkans (Reload).
Reload is a three-year regional project funded by the European Union (EU ) and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) . The six Western Balkan countries are participating in ReLOaD: Albania, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia.
Priority Areas
- Education
- Non-formal education, lifelong learning and literacy projects for the population;
- Vocational education in fields of social interest (training for carers of elderly and infirm persons, training for personal assistants for people with physical and sensory disabilities, working instructor for persons with disabilities)
- Culture and Arts
- Affirmation and promotion of the tradition and cultural heritage of peoples and national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with special emphasis on the contribution of primary and secondary schools from the area of the Municipality of Stari Grad;
- Protection of the Environment
- Protecting the environment and raising ecological awareness through ecological education and activism;
- Education of the population in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources;
- Employment
- Encouraging activities and programs in the field of labor and employment, especially for hard-to-find hard-to-find categories: persons with disabilities, young people under 30, persons older than 50 with special emphasis on women, Roma;
- Incentives for the unemployed youth to study old crafts and crafts in general in the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo as a possible way of self-employment;
- Education of the population on cultivation and promotion and initiation of organic production;
- Business education and support for employment and self-employment;
- Social Policy and Health
- Prevention of family violence, juvenile delinquencies, protection of physical and mental health and improving the quality of life of children with disabilities, persons with disabilities, single parents and their children and other persons who can not take care of themselves;
- Realization of activities and programs with the aim of improving the quality and lifestyle of citizens of third age with a special emphasis on gender equality;
- Realization of programs and activities aimed at citizens’ rights, with a special emphasis on the protection of children’s rights and freedoms.
- Young and Tourism
- Development of tourist potentials in the Municipality of Stari Grad;
- Establishment of an optimal local model of youth activities, youth mobility, youth in action;
- Sport
- Inclusion of adolescents in the sports-social sphere of life, with the aim of strengthening the sports spirit as an important aspect in the development of a healthy lifestyle;
- Sports activities and competitions for persons with disabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Participation in this public call is open, on an equal basis, to all formally registered CSOs / NGOs (associations / associations or foundations), in accordance with applicable legal regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In order to apply for a public call, applicants must:
- be a legal entity of a non-profitable character registered in BiH in accordance with applicable legal regulations (association / association or foundation);
- Potential applicants can not participate in the call or receive grants if they do not submit a signed statement of eligibility with the proposal of the project. This Public Invitation is not open to branches of foreign and international associations, foundations and other non-profit organizations that are registered and operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina Herzegovina.
- Applicants will be excluded from participation in the call or from the granting of grants if they are at the moment of the invitation to submit project proposals:
- subjects of conflict of interest;
- is guilty of providing false information to an authorized party for contracts, which are required as a prerequisite for participation in a call for proposals or if they have not provided the necessary information;
- attempt to obtain confidential information, affect the evaluation committee or the authorized party for the contracts during the evaluation process of the call for proposals.
