We are the Batwa people and we are the marginalised of the marginalised in Uganda. We live in extreme poverty as squatters on others land. We are treated worse than house pets in our country or origin. We were the first peoples to inhabit Central Africa and we are endangered and almost extinct. Our people have been exploited for too long by local ngo’s where non-Batwa seem to be profiting at our expense. We do not approach you for money but instead wish for your support, as we have no voice.
    Thanks for readings.

My name is Opiyo Peter, founder of Attitude Africa, a media center that explores the talent and potentiality in persons with disabilities, who, because of poverty and lack of opportunity, can not access media to provide solutions. Attitude Africa through your support can create a difference.
