The Northern Territory Government is now accepting applications for its Australian Tourism Exchange 2023 to provide Australian tourism businesses the opportunity to meet and do business with international buyers from around the world.
This is a one off payment, in recognition of the recent challenging COVID years, designed to ensure the NT is well represented at the ATE23 and to speed up recovery of international markets. Having a significant Territory presence will showcase the breadth of export ready product available across the Northern Territory.
Australia’s largest travel trade event, Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), provides Australian tourism businesses the opportunity to meet and do business with international buyers from around the world.
ATE is delivered by Tourism Australia and ATE22 saw more than 1,100 buyers and sellers attend. The event is critical in connecting Northern Territory tourism suppliers with international travel wholesalers and retailers to help support the industry’s recovery and drive future business opportunities.
To be eligible for the ATE funding, businesses must:
- be accepted by Tourism Australia to attend ATE
- be an Australian registered business and a Territory enterprise
- exhibit in the NT ATE exhibition area.
