Applications are open for the Health Promotion Innovation Fund supporting health promotion projects of up to 12 months duration that support the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government’s funding priorities.
Funding Priorities
Healthy Canberra Grants funding priorities are to support programs which aim to:
- Reduce smoking-related harm.
- Reduce alcohol-related harm.
- Support healthy ageing.
- Improve population level outcomes around overweight and obesity.
- Improve children’s health and wellbeing outcomes in relation to overweight and obesity, including improving eating habits and increasing physical activity.
Funds Available
Healthy Canberra Grants provides funding for programs of up to three years duration with a minimum funding amount of $15,000 per year of funding requested. Up to $2 million will be available over the three-year period covered by this funding opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be one of the following types of organisation:
- a not-for-profit incorporated association or company
- a government agency or statutory body
- a not-for-profit organisation with other legal status
- an ACT Government school, Independent school, Catholic Systemic or Catholic Non-systemic school
- an accredited early childhood education and care centre or out of school hours program
- a not-for-profit organisation in an auspice arrangement with one of the above.
