Africa Art Lines is seeking proposals for its Artistic Mobility Fund in Africa to allow artists and cultural operators carrying artistic projects between morocco and other African countries to benefit from grants for their travel expenses. Africa art lines is open to artists and cultural professionals living and working within the continent and holding projects related to morocco.
Africa Art Lines is a project initiated by Afrikayna, a Moroccan non-profit organization for intercultural exchange, development and cooperation in Africa.
Goals
- To identify and support intra-African artistic and cultural projects’ holders.
- To ensure better presence of Moroccan artists in the continent and host more African artists and projects in morocco.
- To encourage common creative projects between morocco and the other African countries
- To extend audiences and participate to the African art market development.
- To transmit diversity and intercultural dialogue values through the arts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Artists and cultural operators living and working in Africa.
- Eligible Sectors: Performing Arts (Music, Dance, Theatre..)
- Eligible Projects: Partnership Projects, Artistic residency, Meetings, Conference, Seminar, Workshop, Master class, Festival, Concert.
Selection Criteria
Projects will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Career of the artist, band or company and its artistic level.
- Objectives and actions of the operators and organizing structures.
- Complete description and information of the project, partners and/or artists taking part to it.
- Expected project results and impacts.
- Dates and calendar.
