Deadline: 10-Oct-25
A new micro-grant opportunity is now open to support small-scale creative learning initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa. These grants aim to improve access to digital learning, boost community engagement, and increase course completion rates through local hubs and networks.
The support is intended to help community-based organizations and creative spaces train at least 50 learners using a structured eLearning platform. Along with financial assistance, recipients are expected to provide orientation and ongoing support to participants to enhance learning outcomes.
Grants are designed to strengthen locally led efforts through activities such as group study sessions, mentorship, community events, and alumni showcases. These efforts should contribute to measurable improvements in learner engagement, retention, and overall progress within the eLearning platform.
Each selected hub will receive £1,000 to implement their plan. Activities supported by the grant must be completed within six weeks from the date of award.
To be eligible, applicants must be legally registered organizations or community hubs operating in Sub-Saharan Africa. They should have a solid plan for implementing training, with clearly defined recruitment strategies, community activities, and learning goals.
Applicants are also expected to have experience in delivering creative or entrepreneurial programming and must demonstrate the ability to support learners either in-person or through digital means. The capacity to monitor learner onboarding and track progress throughout the course is essential.
This opportunity is ideal for grassroots hubs and creative collectives aiming to empower learners through short-term, high-impact educational interventions.
