National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD) has announced a competition for innovation and technology transfer projects funded from the state budget for 2019.
The purpose of the contest is to develop a sustainable innovation-based economy by fostering industry-research partnerships to jointly develop innovation and technology transfer activities.
Objectives
- Transforming innovative ideas and research results into marketable innovations by introducing technologies, equipment and inventions resulting from research or purchased into the economic circuit.
- Using new knowledge and generating intellectual property objects.
- Creating and applying new products and processes, technologies and / or services or improving existing ones.
- Initiation and developing new collaborations between research organizations and the private sector for the purpose of commercialization of the results of research and scientific research to provide services by research organizations.
- Increasing the economic effect obtained from the implementation of the projects (increasing the value of marketed innovative products, including exported, new jobs created).
- Increase the level of technology in the industry by adapting new technologies and equipment.
- Enhancing the participation capacity of the H2020 Framework Program of economic agents, increasing the international competitiveness of research organizations.
Funding Information
Funding from the state budget for a project is up to 1000.0 thousand. Co-financing from other sources will be no less than 50% of the project cost.
Eligibility Criteria
- Participants in the competition are economic agents registered in the Republic of Moldova (as an applicant) in partnership with Moldovan research and innovation organizations (as a partner).
- The organization (applicant) must not: be in default of the national public budget, be insolvent or liquidate, or its bank accounts blocked by the competent institutions. Failure to comply with the listed conditions automatically leads to the removal of the project proposal from the contest.
- Only the person holding one of the participating organizations holding a scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences or at least 5 years of experience in the field may be appointed as project director.
- One and the same person may not participate as a director or executor in more than one project proposal within the contest.
- The deadline for the implementation of the innovation and technology transfer project will not exceed 1 year.
- It is forbidden to submit projects that concern activities that are already funded or are being financed from other national and / or foreign sources.
- Project proposals will clearly and explicitly present the expected results, including the description of the perspectives of national and international collaboration to strengthen collaboration in the European Research Area.
- Project proposals that will not comply with the terms of the contest will be declared ineligible and will be removed from the contest.
- Any modification or improvement of the project proposal will be excluded after submission of the file to the contest.
- Any change in the form and additional documents results in automatic disqualification of the competition.

The project-type form and additional documents will be loaded as an unprotected PDF file (a document generated from a PDF file, and NO scanned document) into the online filing platform via given website.
