Applications are now open for the Buderim Foundation Community Grants.
Objectives
- The objectives of the Community Grants are to support eligible local organisations to undertake projects or activities that benefit the Buderim community.
Areas of Interest
- Certain criteria apply and grants are awarded to projects that relate to eight areas of interest:
- Protecting and preserving the natural environment
- Assisting people in need to live healthy and fulfilling lives
- Adding richness and diversity to local artistic and cultural endeavours
- Increasing learning opportunities across all age groups
- Celebrating and showcasing the heritage and local history
- Encouraging and supporting those with sporting and other recreation interests
- Strengthening the social fabric of the community
- Supporting youth in the community.
Funding Information
- The maximum value per grant application is $15,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organisation Eligibility
- To be eligible for a Community Grant, your organisation must be one of the following:
- A legal entity or incorporate association which holds a current Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN).
- Registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC).
- A not-for-profit community organisation.
- To be eligible for a Community Grant, your organisation must be one of the following:
Ineligibility Criteria
- Organisations ineligible to receive a Community Grant:
- Businesses or Sole Traders.
- For-profit public or private companies.
- Federal, State and Local Governments and Government authorities or agencies.
- Organisations that do not have enough reserves or revenue to cover their operating costs and all debts as they fall due.
- Organisations that have not acquitted a Community Grant previously received from the Buderim Foundation.
- Any organisation or entity which the Buderim Foundation deems (in its sole and unfettered discretion) to be ineligible.
