The St John of God Health Care is accepting applications for the Community Wellbeing Grants Program to support local groups who do amazing work to improve the wellbeing of the community.
Focus Areas
- Priority will be given to projects that positively impact one or more of the key focus areas:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people,
- youth or
- people living with a disability and their carers.
Funding Information
- Grant amounts between $500 and $2,500 are available to not-for-profit groups serving the community in the catchment area.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for funding, organisations will need to demonstrate how a project will contribute to the mental and/or physical wellbeing of the community.
- Organisations can only apply for one grant in a single round of funding.
- The following types of funding are outside the scope of the grants:
- Funding greater than $2,500
- Travel and tours
- Research funding
- Assistance with purchase of vehicles, land or buildings
- Major capital projects, such as building refurbishments
- Retrospective costs
- Everyday operating expenses
- Religious, political or lobby purposes
- Fundraising projects
- Debt repayments
