Objectives
- The general objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to the reduction of gender-based violence in the DRC through sustainable strengthening of prevention and victim protection mechanisms.
- The specific objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the commitment of community structures in reporting cases of GBV and protecting victims.

Funding Information
- The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 695,000 divided into four geographical lots:
- Lot 1: Boss
- Amount: 275 000 Euros
- Lot 2: Sud Ubangi
- Amount: 140 000 Euros
- Lot 3: Eastern Kasai
- Amount: 140,000 euros
- Lot 4: Kinshasa
- Amount: 140 000 Euros
- Lot 1: Boss
Duration
- The initial planned duration of an action cannot be less than 24 months nor exceed 30 months.
Geographic Scope
- The actions must be implemented in the Democratic Republic of Congo in the provinces of Tshopo (Kisangani and Isangi), South Ubangi (Gemena and Budjala), and Kinshasa (Limited) and in Eastern Kasai (Mbuji Mayi).
Expected Results
- The expected results are:
- Community structures for the prevention of GBV are put in place place/revitalized and functional;
- Victims/ survivors of GBV are reintegrated (schools, families, socio-activities) economic);
- Men from different target communities become role models.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for subsidies, the applicant must meet the conditions following:
- be a legal person; and
- be a public actor or be a private non-profit actor or a foundation; or
- Be a legal entity under private law whose profit maximization is not the primary objective
- be a non-governmental organization, a public sector operator, an international organization, etc.
- Be established or represented in the Democratic Republic of Congo; and
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action and not act as an intermediary.
