The Shelter WA is seeking applications for its Homelessness Week Grant Program to empower organizations to take action in preventing and ending homelessness in their local community.

Funding Information
- The maximum funding available per organisation is $5,000.
- This year the funding pool is:
- $45,000 for regional events/projects
- $30,000 for metro-based events/projects
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a not-for-profit, charity or local government authority (LGA).
- There must be a clear outline of your event/project/initiative and defined expected outcomes that will contribute to homelessness prevention:
- Where possible, the inclusion of lived experience voices
- Relevance to local homelessness challenges with the potential for local impact
- Evidence of community collaboration and connection
- Address Lotterywest’s Good Practice Framework
Eligible Activities
- Applicants may apply for a grant to:
- Host an event during the weekdays of Homelessness Week 2025 (4-10 August) that will highlight solutions for preventing homelessness in their local community; or
- Undertake an initiative or project which will contribute towards preventing homelessness in their local community.
