Applications open for NATIONS Program & STEM Talent Fund

The Global Talent Network is seeking applications for the NATIONS program and STEM talent fund (Europe) that provide small grants to organizations that identify and nurture school students with the potential to excel in mathematics and STEM.

They are looking for proposals where their funding has the potential to make a clear difference in the identification and nurturing talent. They are particularly interested in proposals that may enable them to learn about the effectiveness of different interventions to identify and nurture talent.

Funding Information

• The NATIONS program offers grants of up to $20,000 for small projects or up to $50,000 for larger projects.
• The STEM talent fund offers one-off grants of up to £10,000 for small projects and grants of up to £50,000 per year for larger projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• Geography:

    • Welcomes applications from organizations across the globe. They encourage applications from all geographical regions.
  • STEM talent fund:
    • Projects must either be physically based in Europe or be online initiatives that are accessible to participants in Europe.

    • They welcome a variety of project formats, including but not limited to for advanced level competitions, professional development for educators, talent scouting initiatives, academic enrichment camps, extracurricular clubs, online courses and training, mentorship and coaching programmes, and the development of specialised STEM curricula
• Legal:
  • They prefer applications from a registered nonprofit or under a fiscal sponsorship arrangement with a registered nonprofit.
