Deadline: 15 December 2017
The Leche Trust is seeking applications from registered Charities for its grant program to support conservation projects in UK.
Focus Areas
- Historic Buildings: The Trustees will consider supporting the repair and conservation of buildings, artefacts and important historic gardens of the Georgian period or earlier. They are inclined to give grants to smaller projects, or specific elements of projects, where their contribution can make a greater impact.
- Church Furnishings: The Trustees support the conservation of church features and furnishings of the Georgian and earlier periods, including monuments, tombs, wall paintings, historically-important glass, and furniture and fittings such as pulpits, fonts and pews. The Trustees do not support structural repairs to church buildings or projects to install modern facilities.
- Museums and other institutions with historic collections: The Trustees support the conservation and acquisition of items of the Georgian period or earlier. Conservation projects may include surveys and assessments, remedial work and the cost of meeting specialist conservation requirements. Trustees do not normally fund exhibitions or educational and/or audience development activities.
- Arts: The Trustees support projects that promote excellence in professional performance in music, dance and theatre, with particular emphasis on new works. They will consider supporting Master Classes and performances at Festivals. The Trustees do not fund capital projects for arts venues, general outreach projects or educational and/or audience development activities.
