Wellbeing of Women is inviting applicants for its Research Project Grants to improve the health of women and babies across the UK.
Wellbeing of Women is seeking applications for projects in basic science, clinical or translational research in the areas of Pregnancy, Birth and the postpartum period, including pre-term birth, miscarriage and fertility; General wellbeing surrounding women’s health issues, such as menopause, incontinence, sexual health, mental health, menstrual disorder and endometriosis; and Gynaecological cancers.
The program invests in special research projects and allocates funds towards the training of specialist doctors, nurses and midwives.
Award Information
- Applications may be made for the financial support of a project (up to £200,000), normally for two to three years, to cover direct research costs.
- The award is intended to support an established, independent researcher leading their own work.

Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited for a Research Project Grant, to be undertaken in the UK or Ireland relevant to the remit of women’s reproductive health and childbirth.
