Deadline: 18 March 2018
Are you adventurous and want to explore Europe? Are you interested in getting to know a new country or culture and want to report on it? Are you between 18 and 27 years of age and live in one of the 47 countries part of the Council of Europe? Have you not been able to travel much internationally so far? If yes, then a travel grant of Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe could be a perfect match for you!
The Schwarzkopf Foundation is currently inviting applicants for its travel grants with an aim to develop a dialogue between young people of 16 and 28 years of age and leading figures from the world of politics, the economy and culture.
Europe means diversity. Experiencing this diversity is corner stone of European integration. Many young Europeans, however, do not get to travel internationally. For them, Europe remains unknown. By awarding travel grants, the Schwarzkopf Foundation seeks to enlarge the number of young travelers in Europe, which in turn fosters European integration and peaceful cooperation on their continent.
The politically impartial Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe was founded by Pauline Schwarzkopf in 1971 in Hamburg. The foundation´s mission is to support the development of young people into politically-aware and responsible citizens by focusing on the strengthening of the European Idea and pan-European understanding.
