Applicants are now invited to apply for the Canon Oceania Grant Program to support four more worthy organisations to further their impact.
Grant Categories
- Community Grant: Open to any group or organisation that has a positive impact on communities, cultural and societal causes.
- Education Grant: Open to any project run by a primary, secondary, or tertiary school/educational institution.
- Environment Grant: Open to any group or organisation that supports and protects the environmental sustainability of the community.
- Cultural Grant: Open to any group or organisation that supports the indigenous culture of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Funding Information
- Valued at NZ $5,000, the winner will receive $2,500 cash and Canon Product valued up to $2,500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a New Zealand group, organisation or legal entity located in New Zealand or the Pacific Island Nations in the Oceania region.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The Canon Oceania Grants Program does not support:
- Political organisations
- Sport organisations
- Requests from sole traders
- Requests from individuals
- Fundraising dinners or events
- Capital building, endowment, or debt reduction drives
- Requests from countries outside the scope of the terms and conditions.
Judging Criteria
- Canon will judge each application based on the proposed impact of the project and its uniqueness, and the importance of the Category Grant and the Canon Product to realising the project’s success, in its sole discretion.
