The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation is seeking applications for its Autumn grants program to support museums, cultural, and performing arts programs; schools, hospitals, educational and skills training programs, programs for youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities; environmental and wildlife protection activities; and other community-based organizations and their programs.
Funding Information
The grant amount ranges from $1,000 to $20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Foundation does not make grants to individuals.
- Grants are considered for IRS-qualified non-profit organizations located within the United States.
Criteria
- Organizations seeking support from the Foundation may submit a letter of request, not exceeding three pages in length, which includes a brief description of the purpose of the organization, and a brief outline of the program or project for which funding is sought.
- The request must also include an itemized operating budget and, for organizations seeking program or project support, an itemized budget for the program or project. Please do not submit bound financial statements, 990s or copies of audit reports with their initial request.
- To ensure that applicants organization is a qualified grantee under the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code, a copy of the IRS letter stating their Section 501(c) (3) tax-exempt/not a private foundation status, must be included with the application.
