Deadline: 27-Mar-23
Are you a contemporary visual arts organisation without a collection, with the presentation of visual arts as your core activity? Do you have plans for a publicly accessible art venue programme? Whether your plans are experimental or otherwise, whether they aim at a broad or indeed a specific audience, you may be eligible for an Art Platform Programme Grant.
With the Art Platform Programme grant, the Mondriaan Fund provides support to art venues whose programming contributes to the high qualitative standards and pluriform range of visual arts in the Netherlands, and to reaching and expanding its audiences. Small arts initiatives, collectives and visual arts organisations with 1 to 4 year programmes may apply. All sorts of applications are welcome. Indeed, diversity among the recipients of the grant is of great importance. Collectively, a varied range ensures a fully-fledged visual arts field in the Netherlands, as well as a diverse audience.
Purpose
The Mondrian Fund stimulates the development and visibility of visual arts and cultural heritage through financial grants. In the Netherlands, including Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, St. Eustatius and St. Maarten, what the marketplace fails to facilitate, or to sufficiently facilitate, in these disciplines is made possible by the Mondriaan Fund. The specific objectives of the various types of grants can be found on the Mondriaan Fund website, in the online explanations for each grant.
