The Tasmania Government has launched the Arts Tasmania Program to support organisations delivering activities that actively engage young people (aged 0 to 25 years) to develop their creative skills, and enhance their social health and wellbeing.
Funding Information
- Requesting up to $80,000.
Eligible Activities
- Arts Tasmania supports Tasmanian artists, groups, and organisations to deliver a range of arts and cultural activities.

These include:
- artist residencies and creative exchanges
- concerts and performances
- collection management and conservation
- creative development and research
- exhibitions and installations
- professional development (including masterclasses and mentorships)
- national and international opportunities
- creating recordings or publications
Eligibility Criteria

The following are eligible for support:
- individual artists and arts workers who have lived in Tasmania for six of the last 12 months
- groups of artists or arts workers with at least one Tasmania member
- Tasmanian organisations that are registered under law (an incorporated association, or a company limited by guarantee) or created by law (a government statutory authority).
- Organisations that are not based in Tasmania are eligible for some programs which support activities that benefit Tasmanian artists or audiences.
Ineligibility Criteria

The following are not eligible for support:
- students seeking support towards activities that are part of a formal course or contribute to an assessment
- Tasmanian or Federal Government departments and government business enterprises

Tasmanian organisations in receipt of administered funding from the Tasmanian Government, including:
- Ten Days on the Island
- The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery
- The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery
- The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
- The Theatre Royal Management Board
- organisations that have current multi-year funding agreements with Arts Tasmania, including organisations supported under the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework, are not eligible for other Arts Tasmania programs during the term of that agreement.
