The Cheshire Community Foundation is currently seeking applications for its Assura Community Fund to support the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged people living in Blackpool Fylde and Wyre.
The grants program supports small constituted, local groups and organisations, who need modest amounts of funding to pursue their objectives and meet the needs of disadvantaged Blackpool communities
This may include:
- Community social prescribing activities
- social action/volunteering
- Befriending
- Giving confidence to vulnerable people to re-join social activities (when the social distancing guidelines allow).

Funding Information
- Grants of between £1,00 and £1,000 are available over one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is aimed at small to medium sized, locally based, not-for-profit UK organizations including registered charities, constituted community groups and other charitable organizations including Social Enterprises and CICs. Regional or National organizations are not eligible, the program aims to fund local organizations
- The program is not seeking to prioritize funding of a small contribution towards large scale, high-value projects, where the Assura grant is a very small part.
