The Barlow Impact Group (BIG) is seeking applications for its Change Grant Program.
The Barlow Impact Groups’ Latest Funds for NGOs, Call for Proposals and Call for Applicationss program has been designed to accelerate positive change in the world. They back big-hearted innovators and change makers who look at the solutions needed to fix entire systems in order to drive sustainable change.

Through their Latest Funds for NGOs, Call for Proposals and Call for Applicationsing and their investing they are driven by the following five key pillars:

Maximum Positive Impact: They utilise all financial and social capital for greatest possible impact and they focus on:
- Reducing inequality in their Region – They focus on reducing inequality in Australia, South East Asia and/ or the Pacific.
- Creating Systematic Change – They look at the whole system and what levers are needed to be shifted in order to create long term and sustainable solutions.
- Using all their Resources – They use ALL their financial capital, personal strengths and office capabilities to achieve their objectives.
- Demonstrating Leadership – They are leading the way in utilising the powerful tool of impact investment to enhance philanthropy and encourage others to follow.

Relationship Building: They build respectful, engaging and innovative relationships and partnerships and their family promises:
- Support – As a team, they have solid experience and insights to create change and they pass this on to all their partners. Both their family Board members and Independent non-family Board members bring a wealth of business and not for profit experience to the organisation.
- Engagement – They are collaborative in their approach and aligned in their goals and values. They invest in their local region so they can visit programs and stay informed and connected in everything they do.
- Partnerships – They enjoy their work and honour those they support. They know that they alone can not make the change they seek. They see ourselves as facilitators to allow the change makers to do their work.

Transparency : They continually learn from others and share their learnings. This is achieved by:
- Sharing – They lead by doing, sharing, innovating and taking risks.They ’re dedicated to building capacity and knowledge in the impact investment and Latest Funds for NGOs, Call for Proposals and Call for Applicationsing sectors. Between 2014 and 2019, the Barlow Impact Group grew ESG and impact investments from 2% to 93%. They are proud of this effort and seek to continue to lead and teach others how they multiply their impact. They use their voice and experiences to effect change.
- Learning – They’re all better when they ’re learning from each other and they never finish learning. They can always do better. They measure their impact in Latest Funds for NGOs, Call for Proposals and Call for Applicationss and investment against the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and the Impact Management Framework.
- Secular Perspective – The world is made up of multiple faiths and belief systems. To benefit one, is to discriminate against many which fundamentally goes against their governing principle of equality for all. They only invest and partner with people who share their values of equality.

Funding Information
- The B.I.G. Change $1million Latest Funds for NGOs, Call for Proposals and Call for Applications for 2022/23
Eligibility Criteria
- You must provide a solution to a systemic problem.
- Your solution must focus on policy, advocacy, social or legal reform (new criterion this year).
- You must have or be connected to DGR status.
- Your organisation must be based in Australia.
- Your work must be primarily focused on reducing inequality (SDG10) in Australia, the Pacific Islands or South East Asia.
- Your total income for the last financial year must be between $500,000 – $50 million.
- You must be able to clearly identify which targets of SDG10 you are tackling.
- You must be able to show a plan for how this prize will be used sustainably with a clear path for growth.
- You must have a governance structure and employment policy that is inclusive, diverse and non-discriminatory.
- You must not be a sporting organisation, a religious group, or a private school.
