The Bell Let’s Talk is inviting applications for Community Fund to provide annual grants of up to $25,000 to Canadian registered charities to increase access to mental health supports and services in communities across Canada.
Type of Request
- Support for a mental health project
- Select this option if your organization is involved in a short-term, long-term or ongoing project for which you are fundraising, requesting their funding or any other type of support.
- Support for capital campaign
- If your organization is requesting a donation to fund a capital program such as a new building or piece of major equipment, please note that Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund does NOT support these kinds of requests.
- Sponsorship of an event
- If your organization is requesting their support for an event, such as a golf tournament, a dinner or gala, or any other type of community event, please note that the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund does NOT support these kinds of initiatives.
- Support for a research based project
- If your organization is requesting their support for a research based project, please note that the Bell Let’s Talk mental health initiative only considers research projects on an invitation basis.

- Grants of up to $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Canadian registered charities are eligible for consideration. Successful grant recipients will only be eligible for another Community Fund grant one year after the date of any previous grant (ie. If you received a 2022 grant, you are not eligible to apply again until the 2024 cycle).
Details
- The Community Fund supports projects that improve access to mental health care, supports and services for people in Canada. Preference will be given to applications that:
- Leverage, expand or replicate proven programs and services already being offered by other mental health agencies
- Have clear objectives and a measurement plan
- Are evidence-based or evidence-informed
- Include a detailed budget and have secured funding from other sources for the project
- Specifically address project sustainability post-funding
- Identify community impact and specify the number or increased number of individuals helped through the project
