Deadline: 31-Jul-23
Applicants are encouraged to submit applications for the Bell’s Grassroots Grant Cycle.
Grassroots Grant Cycle, they aim to extend the impact beyond the local lakes and rivers. They seek to support water projects that align with the goals of strengthening ecosystem health, improving water resource management for of public health and frontline communities, and promoting resiliency and adaptation in the face of climate-related water risks.
The communities in which they brew the beer are intrinsically bound to the Great Lakes watershed. Since water makes up over 90% of the beer, they approach the role as stewards sincerely. They aim to take only what they need and mitigate any environmental impacts from its use.
This means they work continually to reduce water consumption and ensure that water leaving the brewery will not compromise the quality of the local watershed or ultimately the Great Lakes watershed.
