Deadline: 2-Jun-25
The French National Research Agency (ANR) and the JST (Japanese science and technology agency) for the promotion of scientific and technological cooperation has opened the emblematic Japanese CREST programme (Core Research for Evolutionary Science and Technology) to the participation of French teams in Japanese projects.
The objective is to fund international research projects of excellence, clearly standing out from ongoing national projects and demonstrating strong synergy between the teams in each country, as well as real integration of joint work.
By supporting the participation of French teams in these projects, the ANR intends to contribute to the emergence of excellent European and international teams.
Research Areas
- French teams are invited to participate in research projects in collaboration with one or more Japanese teams concerning one of the two following priority research areas:
- [Nano-Material Semiconductors] Fundamental Technology for Semiconductor-Device Structures Using Nanomaterials
- [Prediction Mathematical Foundation] Creation of Mathematical Foundation for Prediction and Control
Funding Information
- ANR will provide French teams with a funding of a maximum of €500k per project. The requested funding must be adapted must be adapted to the number of French partners and the ambition of the project, for a duration of 5 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Theme of scientific collaboration
- A project proposal must fall within one of the research themes as described in the text of the 2025 edition of the CREST program, namely:
- Nano-Material Semiconductors
- Prediction Mathematical Foundation
- A project proposal must fall within one of the research themes as described in the text of the 2025 edition of the CREST program, namely:
