The Landscape Boards South Australia’s Bite-sized Grants program is offering grant funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations to enable them to undertake projects that deliver positive environmental outcomes across the Northern & Yorke Region.
The program is funded through the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board to deliver positive environmental and landscape management outcomes, such as weed control, revegetation projects and pest animal management.
Objectives
- Increasing awareness and positive action for groups in project areas such as weed control, revegetation etc.
- Potential projects may be utilised to fund training events
Funding Information
- Amount: $200-$1,000.
What can be funded?
- A diverse range of activities can be funded which contribute to increasing awareness and positive action by communities in Landscape management. This may include purchasing tools, equipment or consumables; hiring contractors; design or printing costs; presenter fees; purchasing plants; purchasing safety gear etc.
Eligible Projects

Eligible projects will contribute to one or more of the priorities of the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board:
- Pest Plant and Animal Control
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Water Management
- Biodiversity
- Communities
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation or volunteer group (including but not limited to Land, Coast, and Bushcare groups, friends-of groups, farming groups and schools, etc.).
- Applicants may also have a sponsor who is able to accept legal and financial responsibility for the project or activity.
- Applicants, or their sponsors, must hold valid public liability insurance.
