The British Embassy Bishkek is currently accepting proposals for project initiatives in Kyrgyzstan in the 2020/2021 financial year (1 April 2020 – 31 March 2021).
The Programme provides 1-year funding for projects that support activities directly connected with UK Foreign Policy priorities and the objectives of the British Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic. The UK places value on building and maintaining connections between the British and Kyrgyz people in a range of common areas.
The British Embassy in Kyrgyzstan works to develop and sustain the important bilateral relationship between the UK and the Kyrgyz Republic. Their work includes efforts to deepen democracy and strengthen both the Rule of Law within Kyrgyzstan and adherence to the Rules-Based International System globally; supporting defence and security cooperation; working to reduce conflict; encouraging sustainable economic growth; and providing modern and efficient services to British nationals.
Funding Information
Project bids can be up to £100,000-£130,000 with administrative costs not exceeding 10% of the total budget.
