Do you have an innovative business idea, but insufficient financial resources for its realization? If yes then, apply for Fund Challenge Funds!
The second public call for grants from the Challenge Fund for innovative business ideas is now open. The funds in the total amount of around EUR 3 million are intended for micro, small and medium enterprises from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sweden, as well as startups with innovative ideas, products or services that can lead to unemployment reduction, economic development in BiH.
The Challenge Fund was established within the project Challenge to Change – C2C financially supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – Sida / Embassy of Sweden in BiH, which is implemented by the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA and the Republic Agency for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises. The partner in the project is the Region Ostergotland, East Sweden.
Fund Information
- For Startups registered for at least 6 months and not older than 2 years until the date of this call (28.02.2018), the maximum grant amount is 10.000 EUR
- For commercial / business entities older than 24 months, the maximum grant amount is 30.000 EUR
- Applicants must ensure their own minimum participation of 50% of the total value of the proposed project. The project implementation period cannot last longer than 12 months.
Criteria
All proposed applications will be rated according to three basic criteria:
- Innovation of Business Ideas
- The feasibility and sustainability of a business idea
- Social Benefit
